[Review] Generation Klean Hair Mascara Gray Disappear

Are you tired of waiting for your hair appointment to quickly approach because your gray hairs are showing? Well, now you don't have to cringe at the unbearable site of gray hairs! Generation Klean has created a product, called Gray Disappear, that will cover gray hairs in between your hair appointments. Don't know what Generation Klean is? Check out my Intro Blog Post here to get the 411 about the company.

Review

I personally do not have gray hairs, don't ask me how that is possible, with all of the stress I go through I'm surprised I'm not gray all over [lol]. Fortunately, my husband, Sean,  has abundant of gray hairs, but it's also unfortunate for him because he HATES it. Lucky for him, I decided to test out Generation Klean's Hair Mascara Gray Disappear on him.

Sean is a newbie to product reviews so he had a few questions that I thought was cute. Here's a few things he asked:
" Is this going to hurt?"
" How long is this going to take, because I want to watch the
Home Run Derby" [lol.. typical guy ]
" Does it stink, if it does, how long will the smell last?"
Funny right? Well to answer his questions, no it doesn't hurt. It's mascara, it's just like putting on mascara on your eyelashes. It didn't take very long at all, a few swipes and we were done. I loved that I didn't have to use a ton of product to get great coverage. Best part of it all, it doesn't have a weird scent, actually it didn't smell at all. We used the Onyx [Black] Hair Mascara, so it can get a little messy if you are trying to cover up a lot of hair, which Sean did have a lot to cover up. It washes off your fingers very easily, so no need to stress about stains on your fingers.

What I loved most about Generation Klean's Hair Mascara Gray Disappear is that it's Paraben-free. I love that Jasmine and JD took so much time and put a lot of heart into a product that has less toxic ingredients and is safe for beauty lovers. It's super easy to use and can be done in a matter of minutes, depending on your hair length or what you're trying to cover. It covers grays amazingly well, as you can see in the picture above, and looks natural. I asked Sean what it felt like to have in his hair, he said it kind of feels like mousse. So that's great to know that Generation Klean's Hair Mascara isn't sticky or feels funky. Since Sean has never been to the hair salon, the Hair Mascara Gray Disappear is great for our last minute date nights or if he's simply going out with the boys. It comes off easily, no need for extra product to remove the Hair Mascara, just shampoo and water in the shower and you're done. Easy to put on and easy to take off, what more could you ask for?

Does Sean love the product? Yes he does! I'm so glad that I was able to experiment on his hair [since he has so many gray hairs... sorry hunny lol]. Another awesome way you can use Generation Klean's Hair Mascara Gray Disappear is to add temporary highlights! I haven't done this yet, but now that I have time to I will definitely put in some reds and blondes in my hair just for fun. Those pictures will come later, so be on the look out for an update. Don't forget to 'like' Generation Klean on their Facebook Fan Page and/or follow them on Twitter for tips, advice and updates on upcoming new products that are Klean

[Intro] Generation Klean

Do you know what ingredients are in some of the beauty products you're using? Does anyone ever look? I usually do and always look for mostly clean, natural, paraben free products [this list could go on, but I'll stop it there]. It's definitely a must to know what you're putting on your body, let a lone your skin or face. I love that new companies are taking drastic measures in creating products that are good and safe for us to use. We don't have to be afraid of increasing the risks and the dangers of getting cancer related health problems with companies like Generation Klean.

If you don't know about Generation Klean, then you need to jump on this knowledge train. Generation Klean was created by Jasmine and JD because they wanted healthier and cleaner products without the mess of numerous toxic ingredients like Parabens, Sulfate and Glycol. They wanted to help people save money and prolong hair coloring treatments that you get from a salon. Can you really achieve outer beauty without the concerns of toxic ingredients? YES, with Generation Klean products, you will have that peace of mind in knowing that their products are Klean and are also loved by dermatologists and skincare professionals. Check out the video below from the show The Doctors about their latest product, Gray Disappear.

Gray Disappear is a hair mascara that covers gray hairs, and also adds highlights to the hair temporarily. It contains Vitamin E and other natural waxes that help keep the gray away, while enhancing your outer beauty. This product isn't just for women, yes you read that right. Men can use it too! Especially in their beards, mustaches or gotee's that are showing a little gray. This will also boost their confidence because they will instantly look younger with all the gray hairs covered. I love that Generation Klean caters to both sexes, rather than just for women. It comes in 4 shades; Black, Brown, Red and Blonde.
Generation Klean is definitely worth a peak. I mean what more could you ask for from a company that really cares about what you're putting on your body? Check out their Facebook Fan Page for updates and tips. Don't forget to check out their website at Generation Klean dot com, as they are bringing in new innovative products to the beauty industry. Definitely keep an eye out for my review!

IMATS Los Angeles

Do any of you know what IMATS is? Let me tell you, it is one of the most amazing trade shows ever. IMATS aka International Makeup Artist Trade Show, is a huge gathering of vendors, makeup artists, and enthusiasts [like me]. The line to get in was seriously so massive that it wrapped around the building.

My husband tagged along with me, he's so sweet to join me in my adventures. This was our convo as we pulled up:

Him: "OMG babe, all of these people are here for makeup?".
Me: Yes, they sure are babe! =)
Him: "I'm in the wrong business, I need to get on this beauty train asap".

He's too funny! Anyway, at the main show, vendors proudly displayed their best products from the industry and most of them were at a discounted rate from 20%-40% off retail. There were also amazing artists showing off their talents, a few classes and seminars.  I really wished that I could have stayed the whole day, but parental duties call, so I had to come home earlier than anticipated.

I feel so short standing next to the beautiful Claudia =)
I also has the opportunity to finally meet a great friend of mine, Claudia from I Like To Talk A lot. She and I have been blogging together for Beauty Collection for quite some time and have finally met face to face. We were only missing our other friend, Kit from Frances Is A Beauty. Don't worry Kit, one day, we'll all unite!

The fantastic and gorgeous Jamie. I feel even shorter because she had to squat! LOL

If it weren't for Eye Kandy, I probably wouldn't have been able to make it up to Los Angeles for the show. I LOVE their products, and had the pleasure to finally meet Jamie from Eye Kandy. I LOVE her, she has such a huge heart! She was sick but was still there through out the whole weekend representing her brand! I hope you finally got some rest after the show Jamie! Thank you for everything. Don't forget to check out Eye Kandy's Facebook Fan page for updates loves!

There was also a FX hall with all of the amazing FX creations done by artists. They were all so life like it was scary, but amazing at the same time.

I know I'm fired for not taking more pictures, but check out what I have below. I have a few but not nearly enough. Maybe next time I'll remember to take more pictures, but the show was really just so awesome that I was too busy starring and not remembering to take pictures - oops my bad. I did get some new products, so be on the look out for those reviews.

[Quick Fix Tip] Glitters

I don't know if I can ever get use to waking up in the morning and getting ready for work. My time being a stay-at-mom has ended after a long 4 years. Don't get me wrong, I love my job and my boss is awesome - but I think my body still needs time to get use to it? That or I'm low on iron [lol].

Anyway, lately I haven't been wanting to wake up to put on my makeup. So what do I do? I use my Eye Kandy Spinkles Glitters over my eye liner to give my eyes more pizazz. I abso-freaken-lutely love Eye Kandy's Sprinkles Glitters. They are easy to use, it doesn't flake and seriously lasts all day long. There are tons of colors to choose from and they are all so vivid and beautiful.

What look did I do today? Well since I have dark brown eyes, I decided to stick in the brown family and used Ginger Snap. Just saying Ginger Snap makes me want a cookie really bad [haha], no but seriously, I want a cookie! Check out my picture below and let me know what you think!

You can check out all of Eye Kandy's products on their website. Don't forget to check out their Facebook Fan page for updates, tips/advice and of course giveaways/contests.

[Vogue Influencer Network] Brahmin Handbags

I don't know if many of you know but I am part of the Vogue Influencer Network. The Influencer Network is a panel of some 1,000 women deemed to have sway over other women. We are given the opportunity to review products and promote what we love about it. I know there was quite a bit of controversy over it because of the fact that we don't get paid for and so on. I actually like being a part of it. I love being sent new products and being able to review them. Out of all of it, I am gaining experience and it's wonderful.

Anyway, enough about me blabbing. I was lucky enough to receive a fabulous handbag from Brahmin, Arno Black Tote [medium size]. Let me tell you, I LOVE it! I'm not just saying that because I got it for free and it's expensive [well expensive for me anyway]. It's an awesome bag, lots of storage space for all of my things, accept for my makeup bag [I kind of have a ton of makeup so it's impossible for me to carry just a few items =)]. It's black, my all time favorite color. It's also a medium size, which I love because I tend to carry quite a few things in my purse including my twin boy's diapers and wipes. So it's absolutely perfect for me. Seriously, it could not have been any better because I was needing a new purse. Now all I need is a matching wallet =X. I guess I can put that on my Birthday wishlist [LOL]. Check out the pictures and let me know what you think!

The front has a mini pocket. I keep my lip glosses here =)

And of course all of my stuff. Wallet, Glasses case, my Advair, Lotion, oh and my It Essnetial Bar.
Check out Brahmin Handbags on Facebook and don't forget to 'like' them. They have some new handbags that just came out that are to-die-for! Okay not literally to-die-for but you know what I mean.

[Review & Giveaway] Le Edge Exfoliating Tool

Who loves to exfoliate? Me! I know there are a ton of you out there that love to exfoliate. Why? Well because exfoliating removes dead skin cells, toxins, dirt, and oil. It's it gross how nasty our skin can get right? I mean from all of the things we use on our skin, from lotions to creams to instant tans. We do tend to overwork our skin and exfoliating is a must. I've come across some wonderful exfoliating gels/creams, but there is one that I happen to come across that I absolutely love, Le Edge.

What is Le Edge?

Le Edge is a hygienic personal exfoliating tool that is designed to remove dead skin cells and debris from the skin's surface which in turn, minimizes the sizes of your pores. It has a patented "higher than surgical grade" stainless steel edge. This exfoliation tool is perfect for both and men to use. It's safe to use on dry or even sensitive skin. Le Edge can also be used as a pre-shave to help lift up those stubborn ingrown hairs. There is no need for chemicals, all you need is water.

Why I'm loving Le Edge

I really like the design of the Le Edge Exfoliating Tool. I love the handle, it's made of a soft and flexible plastic and fits just perfectly in my hand. It's so easy to use, I just glide it along my skin and off comes the dead skin. If I can just sit in the bath or shower all day and exfoliate my whole body with Le Edge, I so totally would. I love that I can use this daily without any extra chemicals. It's just the one tool and some water and voila! I use it all over seeing results and I am loving it. The stainless steel feels really good on my skin, it's not rough at all, and the edge of it isn't super sharp to where you'd cut yourself. It does not get rusty if you leave it in the shower, because that's where I keep mine. Who wants a rusty tool anyway? I know I don't.

I know what you lovelies must be thinking - An all over exfoliating tool without the chemicals?? Yup, you sure did read that right. It's truly a great tool to have and I absolutely love that all I need to use is water. Check out Le Edge's Facebook Fan Page and be sure to "like" them for updates, info and of course, everyone's all time favorite, giveaways!

Now, with all of that being said. I was given TWO of these awesome exfoliating tools! That's right, TWO. Which only means I will be giving one away! Please check out the terms and conditions on the raffle-copter.  Have it at it everyone! Don't forget to share this review/giveaway.

[Review] Pomé Wonder Serum

Do you have damaged hair from color treatments or styling tools? I'm Guilty. My hair is getting pretty long now, it's almost to my waist line, which I love because I had chopped it off 2 years ago. I haven't had a haircut for 'oh you know' at least 6 months [lol]. Horrible I know. Now I have to deal with split ends, damage from styling tools and damages from previous hair coloring treatments. Since I haven't been able to get a haircut, I have been extremely ecstatic to find an international beauty brand, Pomé. Pomé originates from Australia and is certified organic.

If you don't know what Pomé is, then you must get the 411 on my article on the Pomé brand that can be used for your hair and skin here. YES, I said hair AND skin. Amazing right? Read on for my review.

I don't know if many of you know, but I do have dry skin, on top of not getting a hair cut for over 6 months. Things just weren't looking my way in the whole skin and hair department. I need a hair cut badly but I can't afford to spend that kind of money right now on something that I don't really need . I'm very picky about who cuts my hair, I will spend at least $50 on just a cut. I guess it's more of a want instead of a need, but hey to look and feel fabulous I'm going to turn it into a need [lol]. Anyway, this is why I'm so glad I found the Pomé Wonder Serum.

Why I Love Pomé Wonder Serum

I love that it has a combination of natural ingredients of Argan Oil and Pomegranate Seed Oil. It has an easy pump action application and all you really need is one or 2 pumps of serum. I have long hair so I needed 2 pumps to get it evenly disbursed. I just put a little bit on after I take a shower and voila, my hair dries a lot faster, and is super soft. It's also a great heat protector serum. I just spritz some in my hands and apply to my hair before using my curling iron or flat iron. We all know how much damage these styling tools can do to the hair, so using the Pomé Wonder Serum will help protect your hair. It can be applied to wet or dry hair, but it's probably best to apply it to towel dried hair. Unless of course you are going to use a curling or flat iron, then it is suggested that you use a little bit of serum before applying heat to the hair.

I love using this on my skin but I must say that I hesitated at first... because it felt oily in my hands. Figures right since it's packed with all of the good oils. At first, yes it did feel oily in my hands, but when I applied it to my skin, the serum did a disappearing act and did not leave a greasy oily residue. Score! I was really afraid that I would get left with this nasty residue or make me look like I've just come out of a sauna, sweating, but to my surprise, I did not look like a greasy hot mess. The serum just seeped into my skin leaving it moisturized, soft and supple.

Of course I don't have a before and after picture of my hair. Any time I had my husband, even my oldest son [at age 9] try to take a picture, they could never seem to get it right so I gave up on that [lol]. After talking to my friend Claudia over at I Like To Talk A Lot, we came to the conclusion that it has a citrus scent to it. It isn't bad at all, I just could not figure out what exactly it smells like. It's kind of just an all over citrus blast from oranges, tangerines, limes, lemons, etc. I like the scent, it's not too strong at all which I love because I get a little sensitive when it comes to heavy fragrances.

Do I love the Pomé Wonder Serum? Abso-freaken-lutely! If I could lather my whole entire body up in this serum, I totally would - true story. I love the fact that it does not leave an oily residue on my skin or my hair. It leaves my hair feeling soft and has a healthy sheen to it. I love that it leaves my skin feeling moisturized and soft. Two birds with one stone? Believe it lovelies. Hopefully Pomé will come to the U.S. soon. Definitely check out the Pomé (Pomaye) Pomegranate and Argan Oil Skin & Hair Serum Facebook Fan page for updates, tips, info and giveaways, don't forget to 'like' them too!

[Review] Kawaii TOKYO Brighten Up UV Blocker

Who loves to be out at the beach, lake or at the pool on a nice hot Summer day? I do, I do! Seriously, being close to a huge pool of water when the scorching sun is out is a must, because to cool off you can just jump in the water. Now that we are on the topic of a hot Summer day, how many of you remember to put on sunscreen? For those of you that said yes, great for you, and for those of you that were so quiet you can hear the crickets chirping, I am with you on that. Yes, I am one of those that forgets to put on sunscreen. Although I hardly ever get sun burned, I know that sunscreen is a must especially if the sun is out shinning down on us. I was super excited when I found out I've been given the opportunity to review Kawaii TOKYO's Brighten Up UV Blockers.

Here's the 411: Kawaii TOKYO's skin care line, Brighten Up, has 2 UV Blockers. The Daytime Rescue contains 28 SPF and has a spray on application that helps block harmful UV rays. It's a non-chemical formula that is also recommended by dermatologists. Daytime Rescue contains a blend of multiple fruits and plant extracts that has anti-aging properties. It's resistant to water, and perspiration.

The Sun Survivor contains  50 SPF that also helps block harmful UV rays. It has a combination of a 'reflection' block formula and beauty essences that act deep within the skin to help protect and nourish. It's a non-chemical formula that is also recommended by dermatologists. The Sun Survivor has a blend of Vitamin C derivatives and arbutin that gives your skin luster while also protecting it from the sun's UV rays. It's water proof and also resistant to perspiration.

Review

Sun Survivor
Let's start with the Sun Survivor. I love the sleek and slender packaging. It's such a great size and fits perfectly in my purse, leaving me with tons of room to put in other items. It has a twist off cap, and a squeeze bottle application. What's great about the squeeze bottle application is that the opening is small, which means no messy application, not like some of the other sun screen bottles out there that just squirt out on their own. You have control of how much product you want to squeeze out.

What I love most about the Sun Survivor is how amazing the product lays on my skin. It's not thick, doesn't have that greasy feel and it doesn't leave the white residue that you get from normal sun screens. I love that I don't have to sit there for 5 or 10 minutes rubbing the lotion in. Just a quick massage onto your skin and you're left with a nice lustrous sheen. It doesn't have a funky smell, but it does have a very light airy scent to it. I like the scent, because products with too much fragrance makes me light headed [weird I know]. It has anti-aging properties of Vitamins A, B2 and B3 and the anti-irritant properties of Platinum Nano-Colloid and Licorice extract. The Sun Survivor also contains the moisturizing properties of Hyaluronic Acid and Olive Squalane and the astringent properties [pore care] of Witch Hazel. We all know that we need some good vitamins and moisturizing ingredients in our outdoor skincare. I also love to use this as a foundation base before I apply my makeup. Just a tiny squeeze here and there and it makes a perfect primer.

Daytime Rescue
Now for the Daytime Rescue. It's a spray on application that is quick and easy to use. It reminds me of those spray on lotions, just not as thick as lotion. The packaging is also slim and slender, which is a perfect size to travel with. I love that it doesn't have a heavy scent, I can't really put my finger on what exactly it smells like but I'm glad it doesn't reek. I love that the product is light and I don't have to sit there for minutes trying to rub it all in. It actually leaves my skin feeling cool and refreshed.

What I love most about the Daytime Rescue is that it has quite a few natural ingredients derived from plant and fruit extracts. It has anti-aging properties from ingredients such as; Starfruit, Bilberry, and Shell Ginger extracts and the astringent properties [for pore care] of Prune extract.. It also has the moisturizing properties of Wild Thyme extract and the anti-irritant properties of Licorice extract. I also love how light the Daytime Rescue is and it doesn't leave a nasty white residue. This too is water and perspiration resistant [sweet! because I tend to sweat quite a bit during the summer hehe].

I know I'm not getting any younger, so now is the time to start taking better care of my skin. Whether or not I get sun burned, I still need to protect it from the UV rays. I love the Kawaii TOKYO's Brighten Up UV Blockers. They both are amazing products and I really love how light the feel of both products are. They both do not, I repeat, do not leave the left over white residue that normal sun screens do. Best of all they both have multifunctional properties that are derived from natural ingredients and are certified under the 'Halal' standards of the Islamic Law.

Would I recommend this to everyone I know? Why of course I would! What do you beauties do to protect your skin from the sun? Don't forget to stop by Kawaii TOKYO's Facebook Fan page to stay updated on products, reviews and more info.

[Review] Kawaii TOKYO - Pore Solution

Do you hate Keratin build up on your skin just as much as I do? I've tried tons of scrubs, soaps and anything else you can think of. Some felt like it left a greasy residue, and some just didn't feel like it did anything at all. I was definitely in need of a good scrub. I was extremely excited when I was given the opportunity to review Kawaii TOKYO's Brighten-Up Pore Solution.

Here's a brief 101: The Pore Solution is a non abrasive face and body peeling gel that has organic acid derived from natural fruits [also known as natural Alpha Hydroxy Acids, AHA]. It mobilizes a gentle effect to remove that unwanted and annoying Keratin buildup. The peeling gel has generous amounts of an antioxidant known as Vitamin P that helps fortify properties of Vitamin C. The Pore Solution has ingredients of multi-fruit extracts that is highly beneficial for your skin. It also contains Gold Leaf that's blended with 98.91% of pure gold.  The Gold Leaf stimulates skin cells and balances circulation for soft, even tone. The results include skin turnover that restores your skin to become smooth, moisturized and even toned. Check out my other post for more information on all of their products here.

Review

When I first opened the Pore Solution I noticed the fragrance. It's apple scented and smells amazing. I love it! At first I thought it was used as an exfoliating scrub, but after reading the directions it's used as a peel without having to peel it off. The consistency is great, it comes out of the squeeze tube like a gel but when I put it on, it goes on thin and distributes evenly without having to use a whole lot of product. I massaged it into my face and immediately I started noticing clumps of Keratin come off of my face. It was awesome and kind of gross at the same time [haha]. I didn't have to scrub hard at all and I didn't feel like I was rubbing my face with sand paper. The results are instantaneous. I noticed my face brighter, smoother and not as dry. After the first treatment I did notice some left over Keratin residue, but it was easy to just wipe off. After a few treatments, I didn't notice anymore left over residue, so with consistency of use you won't be noticing any residue at all.

What I love most about the Pore Solution is the effectiveness of it and how quickly it worked. I didn't have to spend a ton of time massaging and I didn't have to put a whole lot of pressure. Not to mention that it smells amazing. I would totally take a picture of my face with clumps of keratin build up but it's kind of gross [haha], so I won't torture you guys with that. My skin is soft, smooth and moisturized and I am in love with Kawaii TOKYO's Brighten Up Pore Solution.

Would I recommend this product to my friends and family? You know it! I actually even had one of my friends try it one day and she noticed the spot on her face was a lot smoother. You'll definitely want to keep an eye out for Kawaii TOKYO to hit the shelves in the US soon!

[Introduction] Pomé

Do you wish that you could have that sleek and shiny hair? Lately I've been noticing how damaged my hair looks and feels - which is really kind of gross to me. When I was younger, my hair was super duper long, shiny and healthy. It was as healthy as ever, until I was introduced to the world of hair coloring treatments. Although I love changing my hair color, I hate that hair gets damaged so easily. I've recently been in contact with a brand that originates in Australia called Pomé. If you haven't heard of Pomé then you definitely need to get on this knowledge train and enjoy the ride.

Here's a brief overview: Pomé has a unique all-in-one rejuvenating serum that can be used on both your skin and hair. How awesome is that? The formula has the potent combination and anti-oxidizing properties of Pomegranate Seed Oil and Argan Oil. Argan Oil is also known as the oh-so popular Moroccan Oil. The Pomé Serum is full of vitamins to help boost hair and skin.

For Skin
The Pomé Serum is beneficial for the skin because it has a high concentration of the Pomegranate Seed Oil that contains Punicic Acid which is rich in Omega-5. It can be effective in reducing the signs of aging, appearance of scars, dry cracked skin, Eczema, Psoriasis, uneven skin tone, collagen damage, UV damage and the appearance of stretch marks. If your skin lacks the luster that you so long for, then this could be just the right product for you to use.

For Hair
Pomé Serum can be used on all hair types on a daily bases. Pomé's Serum has a light consistency, which easily gets absorbed by the hair instantly with no left over residue. It will leave your hair hydrated, soft and shiny. The combination of Aragan Oil, rich in Omega-6, and Pomegranate Seed Oil, rich in Omega-5, works perfectly together to give you those good-hair-days. Pomé Serum helps repair damages to the hair caused by hair styling tools, chemical perming or straightening and color treatments. For colored hair, it provides a protection layer from UV rays that effect hair color. It also helps provide a heat protection layer from hair styling tools like a blow dryer or styling irons. What's also great about the Pomé Serum is that it reduces frizz. You can replace your shine, curl, anti-frizz, de-tangling, thermal protection and voluminizing proudcts with the Pomé Serum. Let's get on that spring cleaning and de-clutter those shelves.

I am super excited to be given the opportunity to review the Pomé Serum that is not here in the US yet! Don't fret my lovelies, they are making their way to the US soon so that we all can have beautiful luxurious skin and silky sleek hair. Also, don't forget to 'like' Pomé's Facebook Fan Page and you can also find updates and product info. Don't forget to keep an eye out for the review!

[Review & Giveaway] Urban Decay Book of Shadows IV

I was browsing around on HauteLook and found an awesome deal for Urban Decay's Book of Shadows IV [originally $64, purchased for $24]. It includes 16 eye shadows [10 new shades], a full size 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner, a travel-size Eye Shadow Primer Potion, a travel-size Super Curling Mascara and a portable speaker. You can create a variety of looks from a sizzling hot smoky eye to a subtle natural look with this all-in-one Book. I love the style of the box, it's decorated with laser swirls and butterflies [love butterflies]. It also has a small mirror attached when you open the lid of the book. The only downfall for me is that the pop up butterflies are kind of in the way of using the mirror, other than that the box is perfect.

I apologize for the bad picture quality

I had a job interview today [yay me!] so I used the products from my Book of Shadows to create my look for the day. I decided to go for a teal smoky eye using the color Hijack because it just looked so pretty. Hijack was the color that stood out to me the most because I haven't played with a teal color in what seems like forever. I absolutely LOVE Hijack it's such a beautiful color. For the inner corner of my eye I used Midnight Cowgirl [funny name right?], another beautiful color that is a  light gold-ish color with glitter specs. Lastly for my highlight color I used Skimp - a nice neutral matte color. The eye shadows are quite nice, I like them a lot especially for my first time using them.

I won't stop at loving the eye shadows. I also LOVE the Eye Shadow Primer Potion and the Super Curling Mascara. My eye lashes are naturally pretty long, but not as curly as I would like them to be, this mascara did a pretty good job of curling my lashes. The Primer Potion is amazing! I love that it's creamy and thick but not super thick. I've tried some primers that are thin and did not like them at all. Speaking of Eye Shadow Primer Potion, my eye shadow is still intact from 8 hours ago! Love it! I also used the 24/7 Liquid Eye Liner and sadly I must say I did not like it at all. I mean it went on just fine, easily glides on with a thin bristle brush. The reason why I didn't like it because it flaked on me, I wanted it to be awesome, but I really dislike flaky liquid eye liners.

Overall, I am glad that I purchased Urban Decay's Book of Shadows IV. The eye shadows are really pretty and the looks are endless. Not to mention the amazing Eye Shadow Potion Primer and Super Curling Mascara. Check out the picture below for my look of the day =).

[Arts and Crafts]

I don't know if you guys know this, but I LOVE Arts and Crafts. I've been getting my thoughts together lately to put some things together to create something really awesome! I'm actually meeting a friend and one of her friends on Friday. You know that saying 'Two heads are better than one' well in our case it's 'three heads are better than one' LOL. We'll be doing a lot of brainstorming and putting our ideas together. We want to make this a profitable hobby and who knows how far it will get, hopefully very far! Anyway, here's a small glimpse of what I've done so far. It's just a trial run to see how easy/hard it would be to create. Check out the picture blow =).

[Guide] Eyelid guide

Click on the pic for a tutorial on this look

Putting on eye shadow can be extremely easy or super tricky. I know that when I first started my addiction to eye shadow, I had no idea what I was in for. I just thought 'oh I'll just put one color on my lid and that should be fine' - WRONG! Now a days I consider applying eye shadow as a technique. You really have to have the patience to practice applying because you don't want to look like 'Mimi' from The Drew Carey show - I know I don't want to look like her LOL! Fear not my fellow beauty junkies, I have created an eyelid guide.

Definitely check out the Les Blogueurs De Beauté Facebook page for the latest tips and tricks that have anything to do with beauty. I've come together with 2 other beauty bloggers who love beauty products just as much as I do, so check out our Les Blogueurs De Beauté Facebook Page.

Check out the picture below [please excuse my eye brow mess =)]. I put a blank slate next to my guide to so that you can see some parts that are not visible in the guide. Hope this helps! Check out my Youtube Channel for the latest eye shadow video tutorials.

Guideline:
1.) Inner corner lid - I basically start with a light shade here.
2.) Middle lid - Depending on what look I'm going for, I'll either progress to a little bit of a darker shade here or keep it light like my #1 section.
3.) Outter corner lid - Here is where I go darker than the last 2 sections.
4.) Crease - With my crease, I usually go a few shades darker than my section #3 or I will even use a black shadow.
5.) Above Crease - Here I will blend in a lighter shade of #3.
6.) Highlight (brow) - Here I almost always go for a neutral shade that matches my skin tone. It can be shiny or matte, whatever floats your boat.
7.) Inner lower lash line - I usually match this with section #1
8.) Outter lower lash line - I usually match this with section #3, but it also depends on what look I'm going for.
9.) Lower water line - This is where I put my liner. Sometimes I will dip my angled brush into water, then into a shadow and line my waterline this way.
10.) Upper water line - Same as section #9.
Then lastly, let's not forget the mascara. You can never leave home without it on! Seriously, having on mascara makes such a HUGE difference.
